Care of Gold Jewellery
Gold jewellery usually lasts forever! But with regular wear, your precious gold jewellery will ultimately collect body oils, soap and even dirt from the environment. For a perfect care, do not expose your gold jewellery to regular soap and chemicals. It is advisable to remove your jewellery before swimming as chlorine in swimming pools can permanently discolour your gold. It is recommended that you remove your jewellery before showering, cleaning or bathing. You can clean your gold jewellery occasionally, by adding a few drops of mild dish washing detergent into a bowl of water; place your jewellery in, and scrub gently with a baby brush.
Ensure that your jewellery is kept in a jewellery box. Don’t squeeze all your jewelleries into one box as it can scratch and damage your jewelleries over time. Also, DO NOT store different metals together, i.e. store gold with gold etc.
